Hi Janet, Just wanted to say thank you for your classes at
the show in Orlando. I took the morning one and then I took
the one on Monday night. I was the redhead sitting in the very
back of the room. We were supposed to leave Monday morning but
the girls I was with talked me into staying one more day. Your
class was the best one I took. I've been an esthy for two
years and I have yet to make any money. I've made bad choices
on where to work and I know it takes time to get in the right
place and build a clientele, but I have been very discouraged
lately. Your class made me feel positive again. I just wanted
to thank you for that. I also stay on the beauty tech board
and read your posts all the time. It was nice to see you in
person. Thanks again, I enjoyed it!

I would like to take this time to write and tell you how much your classes and mentoring have meant to me. I cannot believe that I took your first class in May 2002, how time flies! When I came to you, literally right out of school, I knew in my heart that I did not possess the skills to successfully compete in the esthetics world and more importantly, not hurt a client! I left your class 5 days later with more insight and skills than I had received in the 5 months of schooling! I had the confidence to start my practice and know I could be successful! Janet, I just wanted to email you real quick and let you know that I just purchased your Spa Manicuring book and absolutely love it. Everything you state in the beginning of the book are points I have been trying to impress on the medispa that there is more to manicuring than just removing polish, soaking the nails and re-polishing. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I love your book. I have been giving a lot of thought to the possibility of offering my services as a 'nail department consultant' for salons and spas and your book just put everything I had thought about into one convenient "reference book".
